First post, woo hoo... Hope you all like it..
Kade walked out of her house, pulling on a black and purple beanie, It was one of the only ways to cover them. She grabbed her wallet and keys, yelling to her brother, Devlin.
"Dev, I'm gonna go shop, Be back in a while" before walking to the street and swinging a leg over her Harley, she pushed the key into the ignition and powered up the bike. She needed to get a gift for her brother, it was his birthday in a couple of days and she wasn't sure what to get him. She zipped up her custom biker jacket and placed her helmet on her head, pulling a pair of shades from the pocket, she put them on.
Grinning she said to herself "What a beautiful day" She gave the bike some gas and road down the street to the freeway. Bout half way to the city, dark clouds rolled in and it started to rain. :Well damn it: Kade thought as she felt her jacket start to get soaked :Knew I should have gotten this water proofed: Growling to herself, Kade kept going untill she came to the city bridge. It was rather steep, making it easy work coming up but dangerous going back down. The drop to the water below wasn't very long, but it was still there. She gritted her teeth and went up, the road was slick, making her heart race. There, Kade was almost at the top, she could make it. Wait, something was wrong, a car was swerving two cars ahead, it was crashing into the rails, bumping other cars, making them swerve.
Kade yelled out as skidded to the side, trying to avoid the crashed cars. But it was dark, and the lights above just happened to not be working. A black pipe was just in front of her and Kade didn't see it. By the time she did see it, time has sped and slowed. She braked hard, swerving to the left and then the right, heading straight for the guard rail. The impact was so fast and sudden, she didn't have time to think. Kade hit the rail, flipping right off her bike, her right shoulder hitting the large metal support beams and into the river below. She went in feet first, but the shock of the cold water made her eyes roll. Her shoulder was on fire, She didn't know if it was broken of dislocated.
The lights of the city was just right there
"Bout 100 yards or so..." Kades eyes fluttered as she tried to stay awake. She started swimming towards shore, her breathing pattern changing dramaticaly from normal to short, quick gasps of air. 800 yards, she kept swimming. Her head started to get lower and lower into the water, she didnt' want to drown so she turned onto her back, floating around in the cold water, Hoping someone would find her before it was to late.....
