Goodbye grandma...

22nd March has proved itself to be a downright bad day. Besides the fact that it's a Monday, there was also a sudden rise in temperature in Perth followed by an even more sudden hailstorm. It's just.. epic. Storm went away, so did the gloom, and out came the rainbow. And I thought my day was just about to get better

My condolences babe, I'm not sure if u were close, but u can definitely feel sad n happy for her at the same time. I was really devastated when my grandma passed away, but she was in great pain n on max dosage of morphine, so we treated her funeral as a celebration instead - how great of a person she was, what a long and fruitful life she had, n how she no longer has to suffer. She was in a much better place n so we were happy for her. Although I must admit I felt more sadness than happiness, felt as though my world fell apart n til today, my eyes still well up when I think of her n I'm still not over it yet.

*hugs* i'm sure she'll be glad knowing you still keep her so close to your heart. at least they're in a better place now. i only regret not spending more time with her. :(

hey babe. i lost my grandma recently too and i don't know if i'll ever get over it. reading your entry just teared me up badly. don't really know what to say to make you feel any better but you're not alone. she's definitely happier where she is now and i guess one day we'll get to see them again. take care! <3
