Character name: Rosiel
Fandom: Angel Sanctuary
Timeline: Post-canon
Age: ...Well. I'm not even going to try to come up with a number. Rosiel was the 2nd/3rd (twins) angel made by God. So... Yeah. Really really old. :D But he looks 15?
~*Magical*~ abilities and strengths: For one, Rosiel has the ability to fly with his three wings. Mostly he only keeps two of them out, the third one is the source of his power as an Inorganic Angel. Basic strengths: Pretty much high intelligence, strength, speed... Stuff you'd expect from an angel. But, Rosiel's special. He is the Inorganic Angel after all.
Wires: Electrical wires of various sizes can come out of his body and be used in various ways. Yes, any size. At one point when his mind breaks the entire building is in danger of being destroyed by wires the size of a bus and several various other sizes.
Feather Pill: Only him and his sister (The Organic Angel) can do this. By turning a feather into a pill and feeding it to someone, they are giving that person part of themselves. In Rosiel's case, it corrupts and destroys the person's mind if he uses his full power, making them loyal to him and only him no matter what. They feed off of tiny bits of his blood to stay alive and essentially lose themselves, becoming mindless robots. The only one to ever still be normal after ingesting a pill was Katan. But, Katan was originally made from Rosiel's DNA in the first place so that would most likely be why he remained unaffected. If Rosiel dulls down the amount in the pill though, he can simply pass on his powers. The person would be loyal to him and (if they don't already have them) grow wings and possess a bit of astral powers.
Energy blast: Nothing too special, he's been shown to be able to form and expel powerful blasts of energy from his hands.

Note: PART OF THE PILL INFORMATION IS KINDA HEAD CANON. Rosiel is not a nice man most the time, he always uses his pill for evil in canon. His sister, however, used the exact same ability and it gave the person wings and astral powers. It's easy to assume that should Rosiel chose not to be a total jerk, he could do the same.

How would they use their abilities?: I'm taking Rosiel from the point where his sanity is regained, he would be responsible and probably rarely use any ability except flying. And his wires. But that would be for mundane things like picking up something several feet away or just for use on missions. He would only release his full power if he felt a danger to his or someone close to him's life. And even then he'd most likely be conscious of his surroundings and keep things from getting too hectic unless he truly had no other choice.

Appearance: Because of his body deteriorating as time goes on, he now looks about 15 years old. A 15 year old girl might I add. Rosiel is very feminine in appearance, being mistaken for a female a few times. The fact that he wears skirts when not in uniform probably doesn't help that fact. But at one point it does state that someone who thought he was a girl was fooled by his voice, hinting that he actually does have a slightly masculine voice, but has the ability to make it sound completely female at will. Light silvery blue hair that falls to his knees, slightly wavy and golden eyes. He views himself as the most beautiful angel in Heaven. Anyone who says otherwise usually ended up dead.

Background/Personality: The Inorganic Angel Rosiel is the younger twin of Alexiel. Originally, he was wise, kind and benevolent, but knew he would eventually lose his sanity and become destructive. He asked Alexiel to kill him before this happened, but her feelings prevented her from doing so and she sealed him within the earth instead. He is also obsessed with his beauty; because everyone calls him beautiful (save for Alexiel), he frequently asks if he is beautiful as he descends further into insanity. In fact, he intentionally mimics many of Alexiel's facial features, which explains his resemblance to his sister. In reality, Rosiel was born as an old, hideous creature. His body doesn't age; instead, it becomes younger and younger as time goes by. Rosiel's most loyal follower Katan secretly uses forbidden black magic to break the seal and brings Rosiel back. By this time, Rosiel has already lost his mind.

Even with his determination to have Alexiel, he acknowledges on a subconscious level that he loves Katan more than anyone else in the world and occasionally shows this. In the final volume, Rosiel dies after killing his beloved servant Katan in a fit of madness. In his last moments, Alexiel awakens with Setsuna's help and helps Rosiel return to a temporary state of sanity. She reveals to him that she loved him as a brother all along. Rosiel realizes it is time he died and joined "the one he truly loves", Katan. He accepts death gratefully, but before he dies, though, he passes his powers onto Setsuna, giving three more wings to add to the three Setsuna already had, giving him a total of 6 wings, a trait once unique only to the "perfect" Holy Hermit Adam Kadamon.

EDIT1:(Since I'm not positive where to place these in the previous part, I hope this is okay)

Rosiel was originally created as a decrepit ugly creature, and he knows that deep down he is a monster. Before this was of no issue to him, but as his sanity slowly crumbled and got worse it became an issue. His being sealed inside the earth for so many years was what gave his sanity time to snap. By the time he was released, the corroding of his mind and body had already began. One of the angels under him accuse Katan of lying to her when he explains how Rosiel used to be in the past, claiming that it makes no sense that he used to look in his mid twenties when now he could barely pass for seventeen. Because of his degeneration of his mind and body he has to ask people if they think he's beautiful. If they give him the wrong answer, he would go into a fit of rage. Katan, however, he loved dearly because the angel always told him exactly what he wanted and needed to hear. And even though he knew what Rosiel really was, most of the time he actually meant everything he said.

His insanity continued to get worse, to the point where his last act of rationalism was to order Katan to the front lines. He knew he was getting dangerous, and wanted to save the Cherub from himself. Sadly, when Rosiel finally met up with God the being warped his fragile mind completely off the deep end, convincing him that anyone and everyone only believed he was worthless, a disgusting and ugly creature. When Katan tried to take Rosiel back, God's words caused him to let out a surge of his power, first time cutting through the boy and the second time decapitating him. After which a stone that was keeping Rosiel alive was pulled from his body and supposedly killed him. A while later though, it shows he was merely dreaming, regaining some of his sanity in the process. He thinks about how all the followers he had were mindless drones, just pathetic creatures who couldn't think for themselves. All except for one. All but Katan. He thinks to himself that it's okay, that it must have just been a bad dream and Katan was okay because he had ordered him to stay away. But when Rosiel opens his eyes, the first thing he sees in front of him is Katan's head.

That alone is enough to snap his sanity again, he clutches the head to his body and screams, his powers going out of control and would have destroyed everything as he was revealed to be the Angel of Destruction, God was hoping for Rosiel to lose himself completely. Luckily, his sister's body is placed in front of him and Setsuna gives up his consciousness to allow Alexiel to wake up in her own body. She explains the truth to Rosiel, that she had always loved him and only claimed to hate him because God threatened that if she got too close to Rosiel, He would kill him. She then promises him it's going to be okay, and that he could heal inside her. Rosiel smiles, his sanity regain from his sisters words and asks her if he would be able to see Katan again. She hugs him and tells him yes just before absorbing his spirit inside of her.

Why do you want to continue their history here: Right after he was pulled from his original world his mind was on a breaking point, teetering between the bring of sane and insanity. The smallest thing had the potential to push him back into madness if someone said or did the wrong thing around him. After six months in his first game, he was finally at the point where he was part of himself again. Not quite what he once was, but not the monster he had become either. He realized what he had done and come to terms with it, but he did not regret anything, seeing that some things were necessary and he accepted the fact that what was done had to be done. I really enjoyed that character development, and didn't want to lose it by having to start all over again, potentially having him turn in the opposite direction where he falls back into the abyss of his own mind instead of growing from it.

EDIT2: When Rosiel first awoke in Animus, he was confused and his sanity was tinkering on the border. The last thing he remembered was his talk with his sister and how upset he was over the loss of Katan. He tried to hold himself together though, knowing that his sister wouldn't have wanted him to fall back into that after she had tried to save him.

Luckily, the first ones to find him was a boy who reminded him much of Katan and he happily took to conversing with the boy regularly as it helped him forget what he had done. The memories still haunted him, but he kept them pushed back so they wouldn't effect him. That was until Setsuna, his sister's reincarnation, was there as well and wanted to have a meeting with him.

Setsuna was taken from an earlier point and didn't believe that Rosiel was sane again, couldn't accept the fact that he was no longer evil and refused to listen to what Rosiel told him of what would happen. It ended in Rosiel snapping at him and admitting to what he did to Katan, breaking down crying in front of the boy. Setsuna didn't know how to deal with that, and after accepting that maybe Rosiel had changed after all, he needed time alone to think. Rosiel was left alone, broken on the roof top, until he flew off, trying to run from his own thoughts.

That of course led to the forest which drains your powers and ended with Rosiel laying in a pool of his own blood. Luckily, another kind soul managed to find him and was there for him when he woke up in bed three weeks later. The man took care of him and comforted him enough for Rosiel's fragile mental state to heal somewhat, and then he went home to the boy who was like Katan.

Rosiel was finally secure with himself, confident that he accepted what he had become and what he had done. He knew he was still strong, and that despite not being the pure angel he once was he would never allow himself to fall back into that abyss that had consumed him and caused him to destroy the one thing he had ever cared for. Though around the boy he tried to be a perfect angel, it was slightly straining on him. When he met a vulgar vampire boy, he was amused by him. Around the vampire, Rosiel could relax be himself without any fear of being judged as a monster. Even still, he strictly forbade the other from even looking at the innocent boy the wrong way. He was determined to protect that one since he was unable to do so for Katan.

Have you read up on how the game works?: FlamingFerret computer program : Money from Missions, freelance work or mooching off of someone they know.

1st person sample: [The rustling of leaves can be heard before a slightly agitated sigh raises over it.]

This thing better work now... A tree branch isn't the most comfortable place to sit with a bare ass...

I hope someone can hear me. Honestly, I've no idea what's going on. Everything I think back to points out that I should be dead right now and I know for a fact this isn't some twisted afterlife. I'm annoyed, disoriented and starting to get cold so if there's anyone out there I'd be grateful if you could tell me what's going on. Or at least tell me where to find a decent robe of some sort...

3rd person sample: It was passed sunset when Rosiel finally found the strength to pull himself off of the floor of the school roof. His wings spread behind him quickly, a dull ache in them from being stuck in the same position for too long. The slight pain was ignored as the angel took flight and headed towards the forest. His hands brushed away the tears threatening to fall over once more so he barely paid attention to the exact direction he was headed. It was only when he felt branches hitting over his wings and body that he lowered his altitude. His speed however was increased as his mind would not let him think logically.

When he did open his eyes all he could see was red. His vision was clouded with images of those few moments when he had lost himself completely. When his mind was so far into the abyss that even his own precious anchor could not reach him. Only that creature...That God could get words through his mind and used those to manipulate him into murdering... A scream came from the angel as he fell to the forest floor. His right wing had impacted a tree hard enough to break of bits of the bark. Though as Rosiel pushed himself to his hands and knees his mind barely registered the throbbing pain. It was too plagued with images of Katan, of what he had done to the angel. Another scream was ripped from him though filled with anguish and frustration as he dug his nails into his own arms, blood slowly dripping to his hands.

The ruckus he was causing seemed to scare away the little bits of wildlife that stayed around the area only to call something more dangerous to himself. When the first set of claws slashed at his wings he barely even flinched, his body and mind numb to the pain. Lifeless eyes glanced around him to the monsters that had gathered. All of them snarling and growling though the angel couldn't bring himself to care. They attacked at once, tearing, slashing, biting, punching... Rosiel felt none of it as his body bleed from various wounds that were inflicted. It was only when they started going after his wings more that his body reacted. With a cry of pain his wires shot out in every direction, brutally ripping through the bodies of the creatures around him. The wires grew in size as the angel continued to cry out in pain. No creature was allowed to escape the angel's fury as the wires expanded to dangerous sizes, knocking down a couple trees in the process.

Rosiel's vision began to come into focus as he looked down at himself. The dress was torn nearly to shreds, nearly his entire body was covered in his own blood. He stared at the liquid trailing down his arms and legs for a moment before he began laughing. Tears ran down his face as he through his head back and laughed. It was all so funny when he thought about it. He was the angel of destruction, God's little experiment that was planned to go horribly wrong from the start. Yes... All of it was planned. Even the creation of that beautiful child of his probably. Everything... He was given something to hold on to just so the creator could have the pleasure of forcing him to destroy it and the rest of the world as well. The wires shot straight up, higher even than the trees as the captured one of the creatures trying to fly away. After piercing the thing's heart they lowered back to the ground, shrinking until they were once more no thicker than the angel's wrist.

His laughs dying down, Rosiel grabbed one of the wires and dug his nails into it. The pain he felt from such an action brought a bitter smile to his face. Yes. He was a monster. The Inorganic Angel, Angel of Destruction. He felt all of his energy leaving him as he fell forward, landing in a pool of his own blood mixed lightly with the blood of the dead creatures near by. Before his eyes fell shut, a small part of him that wasn't lost prayed to anything that existed that when he awoke he wouldn't be consumed by these feelings any longer. That for at least a little while he'd be allowed to stay above the crashing waves of the insanity that once consumed him.
