The oddest thing of all, is that he is still breathing. He is limp, his eyes are drying out, but every 5 or 6 minutes, he will take a breath. I'm not imagining it either, because they are big gasping breaths too. So I am dropping saline solution that I got for another hamster's dry eye in his eyes to keep him comfortable. If I had known at 2pm that he was going to hold on this long, I would have ran him to the vet's down the street for a quick shot. :-( I don't think he is in pain though, he's totally unresponsive, so I think he is beyond that. The occasional droppers of warm water I keep trying to give him just dribble back out. poor guy.
