keep thinking of writing something about my sexuality, that word usually is associated with whom one desire's I use it to express where I am at with sex and relationships. I guess that maybe the wrong thing. I am a straight woman, with a whole host of kinks, which has definately led me to a few problems ( Read more... )

There are certainly vesiges of what you describe here, but I do not personally feel that the climate of puritanism is as bad as you say. Sure, you live in a different culture than I, but you also come from the land where they celebrate "the English vice", a taste for spanking and caning developed at the halls of Eton and Harrow. The victorian morality of which you speak is greatly overblown in retrospect. Yes, there was a division of madonna/whore as the churches dictated to be proper, but remember that those women existed in both realms. If you look at the early sex research uncovered by Carl Degler, for instance, it wasn't all as bad as some might think today.

Actually that isn't the way at all, I am just sick of being treated as a whore because I experiement, as being the one woman who is willing to try shit out ( ... )

I am not saying that puritanism doesn't exist, prudery too, but that it is far better now than it once was. And you should be yourself without shame. Have a good time. The only person you have to be responsible to is yourself. If you stick with that, you should be OK.
