* Putting my own feelings ahead of those of so many friends I once had, especially the girls I loved most back in middle and highschool.

* Leaving LA for such a petty reason.

Apologies if I'm intruding but I've learned over the past four years or so to try not to have any regrets and chalk your decisions up to learning experiences.

If you learn from em and can take something positive from it there's not much reason for regret.

I find it makes life a little easier when I do that.

I don't regret moving to Toronto (for ultimately a stupid reason) even though for my physical and mental health it was the worst thing I could do. But I came back from Toronto to Vancouver knowing who I was and finally letting go of my past. So in the end, while I still struggle to get healthy I'm in a much better place and I don't regret it.

Not a problem at all, and thank you for responding. I just feel some times like I have a true lack of friends anymore, and it's mostly due to my own actions. I had close friends back in Los Angeles but I doubt they even consider me a friend anymore.

Nothing in particular.. I was just browsing MySpace and seeing the "top 8" lists of certain folks back in LA and thinking to myself, .. man I wish I hadn't burned those bridges. I don't even know if I did, but last time in LA none of them returned my calls, so I can't help but feel like I did something wrong, y'know?

It's not that you did something wrong, it's just that...Gah. I dunno. People grow apart--especially after high school. In high school everyone was so close because we all saw each other every single day. It's hard to keep those ties when you don't have that opportunity anymore.

I wish you weren't leaving. =(

I never came back, really. :/ Been stuck in Iowa for the past three and a half years.
