Don't ever let your parents stop you from doing what you love. If you truly love it, and want to do it as a career, I say go for it! Screw what the others think.

I was depressed, and my friends didn't leave me, and I would never leave my friends. That's a time when you need support.

But the best thing about school is that it ENDS. Just while longer, and you'll never see any of those people again, unless it is on your time with your rules. It's funny how people tend to change in those years of separation.

that's very true, too. sometimes it can be hard to think about that ... but i'm trying. i've got good people at my side and i've obviously got support *here* which is wonderful!

I think girls everywhere have a secret talent for being vicious and backstabbing - like some gift given by evolution to help us survive in social settings. Not too fun for the rest of us though...
