In case any of you haven't heard, I've moved back home to Virginia. I've accepted a job at Sears as a softlines manager, I'm just waiting on some paper work to come through before I can start training. It's not great, but it's a definate step up, with a pay that's significantly higher than what I was making at Disney ( Read more... )

Is softlines code word for lingerie? Or fuzzy things like towels!

Haha, generally softlines is clothes. If you think of the store in Manassas Mall, you have tools, lawn and garden, paint, and brand central(applicances and electronics) all on one side of the store. All the other stuff is what I'm in charge of. While there are many different jobs with that, I'm going to be in charge of the visuals basically. As well as the regular manager duties like problem customers. :-P
