In light of recent scorching Pacific Northwest temperatures , I have been thinking about Summertime in general and all the things I love and enjoy about it. ^_^ I refuse to let this heat get me down! ^___

Hey fellow Washingtonian! Greetings from north of Seattle! I love your list. Didn't make it to The Bite this year, but if you haven't been, I highly recommend going - it's a blast! Isn't this going to be a fantastic weekend for Seafair?!? I wish our boat was ready to tie up to the log boom and watch the hydros & the Blue Angels this year...oh well, next year for sure! As much as I love the sunshine, I've gotta admit it's just a little tooo hot for me the past couple of days. Thank goodness we bought an air conditioner a couple of years ago. LOL Off to bed, but wanted to say hello and hope you're keeping cool in this crazy weather! I mean, where does mother nature think we are anyway? The Tri-cities? LOL
Thank you for recomending The Bite, I've heard it's quite good, I think I've heard it can be pricey though. There are a couple of other food fairs I want to check out on other occasions as well, like possibly The Taste of Tacoma, and one near where I live called The Taste of Edmonds.
The weather is going to be very nice for Seafair this year, that is great plus! ^_^
You are lucky to have air conditioning, my family and I haven't ever thought it was important to buy that around here so I don't have the pleasure of enjoying any. I have been suffocating it feels like from heat this past week. As I am writing this though the temps have gotten so much better and I'm very glad things are cooling off now. ^_^
I'm glad you enjoyed my list and your joke about the Tri-cities made me laugh, I have often been feeling like mother nature thinks we live in eastern Washington this year. XD
The Taste of Edmonds is good too. I haven't been, but I know people that have and they recommend it. That's actually closer to me than the Bite of Seattle, too.
Sleeping naked is teh awesome! I don't understand why people should have to feel weird about it. If you have a thick enough comforter you can do it all year long:) But I do miss cute pajamas:P
I like your list. Laying out in the sun with a book is something I love too. And summer drinks, like ice coffee, is so much yum! Yesterday we had some really nice weather here and we went out for lunch and sat on a restaurant on the pier with an ice coffee looking at the people. Stephen thinks I am nuts for loving it so much, boys just don't understand:)
Enjoy the heat, I hope you don't get forest fires too.

Iced coffee is yummy. ^_^ Eating/drinking and watching people on a pier sounds like awesome fun to me.
The heat is nice, unfortunately there have been many fires in the area as a result. =(
