The Borden-Gamus legacy 1.2
This legacy is a board game challenge. I'm using this neighbourhood (the minimal version).
Warning: this update includes sim nudity, bad language and adult humour
Start this update with Ludo smelling his armpits
Ludo: Urgh i stink!
Then its time to head off on honeymoon, they're going to Takemizu village for three days, two nights
Ludo checks them in. Even staying at the cheapest hotel for just two nights, they are left with no money for food, tours or massage
He heads straight to the nearest local to talk about his sex life.
Having no money, Devon decides juggling is good free way to have fun
They go to Takemizu village hot springs where Devon autonomously orders a plate of food they can't afford
Devon: I'm here on my honeymoon. My hubby proposed yesterday and we got married straight away and here we are
Girl: Are you crazy?
Rather than use the hot springs, Devon would prefer to dance
Which Ludo thinks is hilarious
He relaxes in the hot springs with a couple of locals
He's actually getting on ok with them
Ludo: So, can either of you lend me some cash? Don't tell my wife but i can barely afford the hotel
Guy on right: I don't think so
Guy in middle: You're young. you'll learn that wives drain all of your money out of you
Ludo: Bah
Next they visited the Immortal Zen Garden where the ninja appears!
So i send Ludo over to greet him
Hmm, Self, i think
Wrong answer...
The ninja vanishes leaving Ludo confused and slightly pissed off
Devon lurks in the bathroom looking creepy
Ludo decides to try his hand at the tea ceremony
Local: You're holding the teapot wrong
Ludo: Its a teapot. Who cares how i hold it
Local: The tea tastes bitter
Ludo: It tastes like tea. Idiot.
Devon continues to have fun doing activities she could easily do at home
Ludo has a go at raking the zen garden
Then they head back to have some free fun of the kind he loves
Though he stays awake thinking of money long after Devon falls asleep
Next morning they head down to Lucky shrine park where Devon heads straight to the clothes rack
Ludo makes a wish but nothing happens
So i have him dig the place up to look for the map to the old man
All he finds is a few bones and stones and a burst water pipe
Deovon tries tossing a coin too but it glows red and she gets a message about scratching
She spends the whole night scratching
Devon: Damn that well to hell
Ludo wants to play mahjong so i send him to join this game
Ludo: This game is so boring
Back to his favourite conversation with this guy he met in the hot springs before
This is the mess they left the place in. They did find a map, but it was for three lakes not Takemizu Village
Next they go to Three corners food mart where the ninja is hanging around again
Ludo rushes over to him again
Same question, same answer...
This time its correct
The ninja whispers the secret of teleportation to him
Ninja: ... like this. Now you are ready
Of course Ludo has to try it straight away, though it leaves him feeling a little nauseous
More digging for that map. Ludo found a treasure chest while Devon tries to catch butterflies
Which she succeeds in
They eventually find the map (actually it was Devon that found it, but no pics of her digging)
They go straight to see the old man. Devon makes tea while its Ludo's job to befriend him. Probably not the best idea.
Ludo: so, why do Japanese men wear these weird dresses?
Old man: Dresses? Hmph. And i suppose you think we wear make up too?
Ludo: Not make up, but i bet you are wearing high heels under that dress
Old man: How disrespectful
Hours later they are still not getting on
So Ludo tries his party trick, talking about his beloved grilled cheese
But old man is having none of that (quite literally haha)
Devon is fishing in case you were wondering
She caught this beast first go
Eventually Ludo gets his relationship high enough for the old man to tell him the story
He decides to teach Ludo how to bow, but Ludo just can't take it seriously
Old man: Just your head and shoulders, like this
Ludo: I got it. like this?
Old man: Perfect!
Ludo: how about a hug, old man?
Old man: No.
The old man starts doing Tai Chi so i have Ludo join him. Though he is clueless
Ludo: Wanna go back to the room for some more free fun?
Of course Devon says yes
Then its time to check out
Though they can't resist a quick public woohoo on the sofa in the lobby while waiting for the taxi to arrive
After checking out they are left with just 134 simoleans
Back home they sell all this that they dug up. They make just over 6,000 simoleans so the house gets a little bit of a make over
I moved the living room area near to the front door
They could finally afford an oven
Bathroom. I swapped out the shower to a cheap bath/shower after
Bedroom. I didn';t want to spend too much as i have to deduct the money for any children they have and i'm worried about quads
I guess this is karma for the mess they left in Takemizu village
Ludo finally gets to make his favourite grilled cheese. I'm not sure how much i trust him with the oven though
Ludo: so what do you think? You like it?
Devon: Its grilled cheese. What more can i say?
Ludo's first day of work. He doesn't want to go
And looks like gen two is on its way
Ludo got promoted
Devon takes over painting seeing as Ludo has a job
First pop, and she changes into appropriately coloured pjs
Ludo: no there are no such things as ghost
Ludo's refelction: Then what's that behind you?
Ludo: what?! where?!
Don't worry Ludo, its just Devon playing in the bath
Another promotion
He preens every time i don't give him something to do. He's seriously obsessed with himself
He still enjoys gossiping about Gilbert
Second pop
He's actually looking forward to being a dad
Ludo: Hello baby. I'm your dad!
He wants to master tai chi
But he's still clueless
Baby time! Devon looks happy to be in labour
But Ludo seems more in shock
Its a boy, Bul, with his dad's custom hair and mum's eyes
And another boy, Risk, with the same colouring as his brother
