This isn't the post you're looking for.

I keep meaning to post here with updates about my life in general, but realistically not much has changed.

I did (finally) get specs though.

Glasses!

Also, in case you were wondering, this is how I look when I'm trying to figure things out:

I've been keeping myself busy of late by making pretty scarves. Originally I was just making them as christmas presents for people, but when I finished I found myself wanting to make more. Oops.

Rico Creative Can Can Disco in Rot.
I made six of these in various colours (four in the Disco shades, two in the Print) for my mum and my sisters for christmas, but wasn't able to hand them over until January. Two months later, I've finally finished one of my own. They're much more substantial than they look, and very snuggly. I'll probably spend most of next winter wearing it.

King Cole Krystal Glitter in Inferno.
I made one of these in Emerald for an auntie for christmas, and they are so quick and easy to make that I'm pretty much hooked. The one I made for my auntie was a bit of a rush job, done in five hours on Christmas Eve, but at my normal pace they take about eight hours altogether (I generally knit in small chunks while I'm on buses, instead of trying to do it in one sitting, which might be why the times are so different).

King Cole Krystal Boa in Roundabout.
I just started this one today, so I have no idea how it will turn out. I got a few comments on how complicated it looks - apparently you're just meant to knit one stitch per hole along the top, so it's actually pretty simple. That said, I'm knitting every other hole because it's easier for me with the way I knit.

I've also been working on some music box style covers of tunes from soundtracks that I love; so far I've done some from a couple of Final Fantasy games, Ib, Gitaroo Man and Glitch. You can find them here on my tumblr if you want to have a listen (you can also find them by tracking the tag "angelikitten's music box covers"). If you want to download them, feel free to do so - if you need me to upload them somewhere else, just ask.

There's one thing I've been working on for a while (in an 'every now and then I remember it exists, work on it for a few hours, then forget about it for a few months' kind of way), but I really need a kick in the pants to make me finish it: my new custom mood theme. The name will probably change, the faces are only grey because I haven't decided on a colour scheme, and I haven't even made half of the moods yet, but that should give you some idea of where I'm going with it.
