"YES!" Angelina said when she recieved Zena's letter. She was so happy that Zena forgave her. Angelina felt really bad about the previous night.
Well, I figure some of my friends might distance themselves from me for a little bit, but I didn't think that far ahead. Really, I didn't think that much at all. Ugh. I still feel like a horrible person. Yeah, I was mad that I didn't have Fred anymore, but that was no reason to take it out on Zena. And I can't believe I actually cried...especially as hard as I did. I hate crying in front of people. I feel all weak when I do. Oh well...what's done is done I guess.
As Angelina was thinking over the night before and a few other nights, Artemis flew in her face again. Her favorite way of getting Angelina's attention.
"Hello, Artemis. Got something from dad?" Angelina took the parcel and letter off the owl's leg, gave her some water, then she flew off. Angelina looked at the parcel which said "Read Letter First"
Happy Birthday, Angelina! I forgot that! I'm 17 today!
This is a present that Trevor and Ash picked out for you. They were really excited about your birthday again. They love picking presents out for you. We hope you're doing well at school and being the good little girl we know you are. That's what you think Michael is asking about you still. We still think you should be with Michael. SHUT-UP! NO! Geez! He's a friend! Leave me alone! But, anyway, here's your present.
Love always,
Dad, Mum, Trevor, and Ash
After reading the letter, Angelina opened the parcel. On top was a finger-painting that Ashlyn had done for her. "Awww, thanks, Ash!" Angelina said to herself, thinking of her little sister. Trevor had also drawn a picture for her. It was a nice little sketch of a Quidditch match. "Neat!" Then lastly, Angelina pulled out a new book on the Montrose Magpies and letter from the President of the Magpies with everyone's autograph on it.
"Wow, Dad! This is wicked!" Angelina just stared at it with her mouth open. Her favorite team ever had just sent her a letter! Angelina ran up to her room and put her siblings' pictures on the wall and put the letter in her trunk. She wanted to keep that safe. She then got out some parchment, ink, and a quill and started writing to her dad.
Hey Dad!
Thanks a BUNCH for the letter and the book! I love it! And tell Ash I love her painting and Trevor that his Quidditch picture was amazing!
But, Dad, if I've told you a million times, I've told you a million times again: I. Don't. Want. To. Date. OR. Marry. Michael!! He's just a friend, Dad! Okay? Geez! I've had enough! I can pick my own boyfriends without your help dad! You are not my matchmaker! I am my own matchmaker, okay? I love you, Dad, just, let me do some things on my own, okay?
Where's mum? (Although, I don't really care if you tell me or not).
Love Always,
Angie
