I think I am seriously considering becoming a paid member.

Any thoughts/ideas/recommendations/inhibitions/warnings about this?

dont do it. its absolutely ridiculous. especially, consider the amount of times that u update.....
what, once every two weeks?? totally not worth it.

plus, have u forgotten your "i have no money" status? lol

LiveJournal needs money to survive, even if from only a small portion of its members. Don't forget that you get faster access to the site when you pay (servers respond to your requests before requests from free members/non-members). It's only $25 for a whole year. I've paid for two years now, and will pay again this coming April.
