Just got back from visiting my brother - I'm telling you now people, a 10 hour drive in the back seat of an overstuffed van is not the most fun thing in the world. Hey, at least you're not struggling with over 2 feet of snow... BTW, do you guys get all that much snow during your winters?

I'm glad your holidays went well and that you survived such a long drive. I hope your New Years is great!

Oh, what does the tea set look like? I kinda collect single antique tea cups and I've got a teapot theme to my kitchen. I'm interested in hearing about yours.

Not much snow, at least not where I live. We get them up in the mountains but even then not that much I think.

New Years should be good - have you got anything planned? We're just planning to sit around with cheese, crackers and the ham. Watch the fireworks on the TV and all that stuff.

My tea set is all clear glass. It has this beautiful warmer that goes under the teapot and four glasses all clear glass as well. I got it mainly because I have a lot of those tea balls - umm they're like flowers when the hot water hits them they open up. I thought it would be better if we can actually see them flowering you know? I kinda collect tea sets myself, I like very clean, asian designs. I think I have five tea pots now. What kind of cups do you collect?

well, I have one asian tea set from Pier One, but the rest are pretty much single cups from the sets my relatives have had over the last century or so. I love antiques, be they china, books or furniture. All of the antique cups are of european design and most were made before the 1950s
