If you don’t mind me asking - if you don’t go to a Southern Baptist church now, which church do you go too? More questions will probably follow your answer - as I’ve have loads to learn about all the different branches of Christianity. I honestly never realised just how many there are! :o)

Hope your Bible study course is a good one. I’m thinking of doing an Alpha course. Do they have them over there? It seems to be quite general - so I guess it’s good for a beginner like me. Haven’t broken the news to hubby yet though!

I’ve heard you sing! Get back in that choir immediately! :o)

Hubby regards Christianity as collective brainwashing and group hysteria. He also currently considers it an epidemic! **sigh**

The ladies at my church favour fruitcake - and who ever makes it - seriously needs to add more moisture!!

I’m hope that this post means you are feeling a bit more settled about things. :o)

I am a member of the UCC, United Church of Christ. It's a very non-dogmatic denomination, very accepting and non-judgmental. A lot of the more conservative denoms don't get on with it because of its stance on homosexuality. They're very open toward other religions as well. Interfaith relations And "Ask me your questions, bridgekeeper, I am not afraid!" :P ( ... )

Alpha class - I glanced at it briefly but am on my way out the door in a few minutes. On first glance, it looks cool especially since it's designed to be interdenominational ( ... )
