personally.....i think that BESTFRIENDS dont lie...they arent suppost to fight...they are suppost to be the ones helping eachother through other fights...im not taking anyones side here...and i luv ya both to death...cuz your both super cool....but i mean brandi if you said that you were gonna call before work...you could've always picked up the phone...called mandy and said that you were spending sum time with your grandparents and that you just wanted to call to let her know that you didnt forget her...if mandys away message said she was at the family thing and THEN going to the funeral...then you could've still called her...because im sure you didnt work TOO late..and the funeral probley wasnt THAT early...and i know about the whole mandy not hanging out with you that one night...but i guess it goes both ways for you guys...she never actually made plans with you...and you never actually made plans with her
