This is a way to self-delusion, and worse.
One, who take such standards, will surely fail to be a real Christian, because he thinks too much of himself and doesn't really feel a need for Devine help. "Blessed are the poor in spirit" (Matthew 5) - to know thyself as poor is the first necessity of the kingdom, and one who follows such "high standards" will utterly fail it.

I agree with you, I dont think anyone can follow that perfectly... But I do think its something good and uplifting to read and a good thing to strive for. No one is perfect, and thus I dont believe any person could truely fit that to a "T" but I think its a wake-up call to alot of people who proclaim Christianity but dont live their life accordingly.

Yeah, i see how it is brave, and uplifting, if a bit impersonal (it's more of a parade than of a relationship). I think it might be not a bad thing to want it. But in reality something else, some simple things we manage to bring out of our weakness (II Corinthians 12), counts for more.
