yay:) Don't forget to look at the quotes from the era at the end of each section/book:) Full of really nifty information. The early part is really good for materials and amounts used. And I'm sure there is menion in there of horn. I really wonder if I should get that corset thing for the horn in it....
I found another fabric that could work for the fireside skirt. *hangs head* My fabric for the blue dress is just not going to get to the right shade of blue in time. I think I'll have to go to New Market and hunt for other options.
Cool, if you are up for an early start on Sunday the 18th, 10:30amish, at my new place, we will be holding our bi-weekly stitch and bitch and the topic up for discussion is corsets... you could bring your nice book to share :)
Hmmmm tempting but considering I will have worked through to 5.30am that morning and then going back to work that night at 7.30pm I just don't think I will be able to make it. But don't be surprised if I turn up all bleary eyed, so I can ask questions of people who have made corsets.
Hmmmm.. I wonder if I should toddle up, I have all the patterns from C&C and I have a three corsets I've made from it... I've also made a few for other people...
