The title of book & of Harry Potter is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.  I'm wondering what the hell this title is supposed to refer to.

WEEEEE. EXCITEMENT!

"Deathly" is easy. Harry and/or Voldemort needs to die by the end of the book...or should, anyway, to make a really spectacular ending and conclude the series. :D The moments before death are said to be the holiest in a lifetime. Hallowed probably refers to a lot of realizations and conclusions moments before that fatal ending. It's supposed to be a huge book, and I bet a good long chapter or two near the end is that sort of stuff.

Or, she's made Deathly Hallows an entirely new place or thing (like, Deathly Hallows is the place they have their last fight, etc.) and nobody has any proper clue yet.

I'm guessing the latter will be closer to reality. I cannot wait for the book. Fangirl squeeing was heard when I figured out the secret to getting in and won the game of hang man to find out.

Wasn't the place where Harry's parents were murdered called "Godrich's Hallow"?

Well, you see there are these hallows and they're deathly.

I dunno, sounds like a dumb title so far.
