What a dress, indeed... heh. 18th Century. Robe al francaise. I can't see the back, so I can't see if its a sauque back or not, but if its historically accurate, it will be. In my costume history class, we used to call them the "toaster cover dressers" because of the outrageous panniers on some of them. Hehehehe.
You have seen the photos of the people-sized dress in the same style that I made, have you not?
I'm so glad you and Robyn got some good pics...cuz well um...somehow everyone of my pics was like:"OOOH BLURRY...OH DARK OOOOOH WASHED OUT WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT."
Heehee, I know~! Everyone is so talented at these conventions. I sorta wish I'd gotten my entry done, since I had (what I thought was) a pretty cool idea... but my skill level, via sewing and the other things I'd have had to do, aren't up to par with everyone elses. :> Maybe next year~
