This excerpt from an email I wrote to Bethany is the best way to get across how today's been going:

Oh my God, I just got home from work, and let me tell you--it was a special day at the OD [Office Depot]. First, I couldn't find a check for $107, [...] then I found a styrofoam coffee cup in the recycling bin where we keep the old ink and toner ( Read more... )

okay. your OD stories trump mine. for today

All i've got is two weird phone calls. the first one crystal answered, the person on the line told her he needed a spanking. she didn't have the time to deal with it. she hung up.

the second one i picked up. the girl proceeded to tell me that one of the people that worked with us was irresponsible since he got a girl pregnant and wasn't taking care of it, etc, etc. i told her that he doesn't work here anymore (which he doesnt). and she hung up.

odd. but not as odd as taking off your underwear in the back of the store. disgusting.

The pinkness, the neurosis, and the woman all combine to make me think of Miss Kilman in MD. Perhaps I'm the one losing my mind.

Miss Kilman! Yes! You're right!
(And I love being able to refer anything back to MD ... so yay for that.)

Also: because of you, I Amazoned VW's A Writer's Diary. Haven't started it yet, but will SOON. It's about time I stopped reading fashion mags.

Love!
