Anyway, beside all that... Does anyone know what it means when your monitor screen goes all pink? Is my computer dead and beyond repair?

You know where your monitor plugs into your tower? Try messing with that, unplugging it and replugging it and all that. If the monitor IS broken your computer is probably still fine, you just might need a new monitor.
