ThanksGiving
Ok this might be long for there is a lot to be thankful for and by goodness for once in a writing mood lol. So excuse that bad grammar and the corniness (but true thanksgiving shows how precious and great life can be, in midst of bad situations)
Time for Thanks GIVING! IN all I give thanks for and to, I most of all give Thanks to the one who allows such awesome things...God. If it wasn't for HIM, we wouldn't even be here to enjoy reasons to be thankful:-) Thankful God has so much love He had to make us to share the love with us:-) Also Thankful HE is very patient ..due to I need it (I don't deserve it,though) and so does everyone else! Thankful He isn't the God who throws out lightening bolts every time we screw up, as some may think (and how I use to think) if that was true, no one would be here ..... He is merciful, kind, loving (but yes, believe in God is also Just too!) who gave us commandments not to ruin our fun, but cause he cares for us (and knows what leads to destruction and what leads to life) and wants us to experience true happiness and to live the best of life. Ok will shush here is my list:
1. Two parents who have loved me with a love that I will never be afraid of losing and don't have to do well to recieve it.
2. A sister who I am close with and is my best friend. She knows me in and out and still accepts me haha.
3. Wonderful Nieces who I stay in awe of and makes me quite aware why Jesus loves children so much (well He LOVES us all!)
5. For friends who know me all the way through and love me still. I truly believe friends are God's gift for us to remind us how to have fun and how to think of others, and not just of ourselves! Thankful for the friends also I have had and now in Heaven, the ones who taught me what true friendship was about!
6. To have a job, that is a big blessing..not my dream job, but it pays the bills and have some fun coworkers:-) That make it worthwhile:-) 7. Thankful for the senses...for which thankfully God gave us (imagine not being able to feel, taste, and etc) that helps us experience life to the fullest
Eyesight- To see the beauty of God's creation and seeing HIS artistic hand, as trees turn to brilliant hues of reds, oranges and yellows. The beautiful blue sky with fluffy white clouds. The night sky with the numerous stars. Able to see different colors and shapes.... see the beauty in the various forms of artwork rather it in written form or visual form:-)
Taste- The ability to taste is something to be thankful for, mostly at this time of year...surely something to enjoy and thankful my loved ones and I have enough to eat (maybe tooooo much haha):-)
Smell- True not all smells are created equal lol. But thankful for the smells that are truly wonderful, from cookies baking to a cookout to perfume to beautiful flowers.
Hearing- The ability to hear the wonderful sounds of a child laughing and how music can reach down to the deepest part of the soul. And can't forget hearing wonderful sounds like a cat purring. Touch - To be hugged and to feel loved can be felt by all senses but not so much as a hug:-) To feel the smoothness of silk , the softness of my cat Kit Kat's fur.
8. Thankful for my pets (and animals in general)! Who tend to love no matter what...grateful God put them on earth for us to take care of (and sometimes they seem to take care of us)
9. Thankful for a dependable car (hopefully lol it will be for some time) and the ability to have a convertible hehe so I can enjoy gorgeous warm days while driving:-) Since I do a lot of it!
10. The gift of laughter!!!!!!!!!! 11. A roof over my head (and hopefully one day it will be my own roof lol)
Most of all the though how sappy this has already been..I am thankful for Love, for when it boils down to it that is what makes it worthwhile getting up everyday:-)
Ok...............no more sappy talk .
As of 2005 got to add that I am more grateful the fact my step niece is more part of our family..now that my sis and bro in law are her legal guardians...
And thankful that I already have a new job coming in January that is a night job, that I may be able to do what I have been dreaming of doing the past year and a half.
Thankful for my LJ friends..... :-)
And thankful I had this housesitting gig due to I really really needed the break and the extra money!
