Ho hum ~

Earth is having christmas time again. I was shocked to find the house in Liverpool is also dressed up to the nines with festive decorations. Some sort of purple giraffe did it I believe, but who knows.

Does any one else get the urge to join in with the nonsense and give gifts around these funny little holidays?

I almost do get that urge, actually. Main thing stopping me is the recovery from Summer Solstice two days ago.

Evening, by the way. I'm Nolryn. I figured I should probably start getting to know people around here at some stage, and this seemed a good place to start.

Greetings t you Prince Nolryn, I am Angelo, Memory Keeper of Nightmares. Happy to meet you and all that ~

Perhaps attending your Summer Solstice festivals would stunt my urge to join in with mortal holidays also?... Yet it defeats the object somewhat, replacing one celebration with another.

If it helps, there's no preparation required for Summer Solstice, not by the general populous, at any rate. It's all organised by me and Majesty, we're the ones who do speeches and make sure the feast is prepared. The only task for the rest of the city is to look forward to it all. The King's Own puts on a bit of a demonstration in the market square, then we all go and get suitably inebriated and go to bed when the sun comes up. Fantastically fun day, whether you're Raykinian or not.

What... exactly does memory keeping entail?

Hmn, how very charming. Perhaps I, as well as a few others will attend next year if we are welcome?

As for a memory keeper, hmn, how to explain? ... We are akin to the existence of a Force, yet not on their level really. It's one of those keep the universe in order type jobs, you know, boring. We basically keep your memories working is all. Store them in libraries... log them away, that sort of thing. Hardly important.
