UNfail part 2

In today's news:

Due to the likely threat of a severe storm, staff are asked to be vigilant when entering or exiting both UN-ICTY buildings.

God forbid any one of us would damage the damn door when coming in! Seriously! We're only supposed to be careful in the doorway and then just go stand under a tree and wait for it to fall on you?

Oh, this

Nice that they are more concerned about their buildings!
Still have to get out to get to work. The storm isn't that bad here yet, but I expect it to get worse by the time I do have to leave.
Stay safe ;)!

It's extremely typical of this place. They don't care about the staff at all. Oh the stories I could tell you...

The storm is not that bad yet here either and the trees in my street survived the last storm, so fingers crossed!

It's everywhere, they're not concerned about the people who work anymore cause they can be easily replaced.

Last weekend I wasn't feeling too well and I looked the part, my manager came around and the first thing she said wasn't: how are you feeling? Get your butt out of here, go home and hop into bed.
Nooo, she said: You're not getting sick do you?(duh I already was) You can't get sick, you know what tomorrow the stores will be open ( like I would like to get into a bus for 20 minutes while feeling sick and go to a store and then travel back again) and you should get some herbs that will help you open your airways. Cause I need you here next week I don't have any substitutes.
Not the problem of your already sick employee now is it?
Still I went to work of course, can't help myself.
