Well, it's that time again... I'm seeing 6AM from the wrong side, again. My DEA thinks I should apply for invalidity benefit. I think she may be right, unfortunately. Also need to go see the doctor, see what they say.
You probably won't get invalidity, not having contributed to National Insurance for the last two years. However, you will be fully capable of claiming Income Support. Income Support comes to the same as JSA, but you don't have to go and sign on more often than every two years. I say, go for it. All you have to do is keep getting sick notes re: whatever illness (probably depression in your case)
