Yay! What a fab idea. It's a great way to spread a bit of that old Christmas magic. :)

It is. It helps with the Holiday Blues, that's for sure. Once you hear, "Santa, I love you," it's all over.

I'm so glad it went well. There's truth to that saying "the only thing we have to fear is fear itself". Now that Chris knows the ropes, he'll be fine.

When we were young, we'd get Western Union telegrams from Santa, and he'd know personal stuff too. That was our evidence that he was real. We never made the connection that my dad worked for Western Union.

It's a wonderful program. And we were lucky; we had great parents who were happy to play a long and very nice children. One Santa talked to a three year old who said, 'I hate Santa!' And her mother was laughing in the background.

Nice.

One little boy had a numbered list of things, but he was really so well-mannered, Santa let him rattle off quite a few. Plus, he was helping his Dad wrap presents for the neighbors.

Also, one parent wrote on the form that the neighbor leaves tinsel, decorations, and candy around for the kids and claims that "Tinsel" the elf has been by to check up on them. This neighbor even made a little "elf coat" that got left. So Santa asked the young man to send Tinsel back to the North Pole if he sees him. Santa needed all the help he could get.
