Good to hear from someone and it does take a while to recover from something like this, especially since it became way more involved than we ever dreamed it would. I'm afraid she is going to bite my head off when she does email me, I encouraged the operation thinking it would just be a couple of stents and then home in a couple of days. Never dreamed it would wind up being this bad.

She might but if she does -hands you a grain of salt to go with it- no one knew how bad it was going to be until the Doc got in there.

Out in the valley, Wasilla. About an hour, hour and a half, outside of Anchoragua.

EDIT to add: I'm in Oklahoma keeping an eyeball on her and reteaching both her and my dad how to cook and buy food more wisely.

Using every bit of your hard learned "how to handle parent" skills I'll bet. The only times I've been in the Mid-West I've been appalled at the restaurant food. Here in California we are totally spoiled.

I know Wassilla. My sweetie M has a daughter there.
He has two sons in Anchorge, they run Peppercini's down on Old Seward Highway.
