Quick Question: How are people searching for colleges? Any good search engine online or anything like that? I'm at a loss. Collegeboard has been useless.

i've been doing some BIG time college hunting.
collegeboard hasn't been merciful to you? whoa! because they hlped me with a lot! if you use their "advanced search", you can search based on the things you like in colleges.

another good place is www.princetonreview.com . access the "counselor -o-matic", answer some tedious questions, and it will give you a good list to start researching with. the schools they'll give you are matched schools...so it's a good place to at least start.

but, so far as i know, collegeboard.com is the best one out there. even if they have screwed up my collegeboard account once or twice. cough. but really, if you go to the advanced search, you'll get a pretty good list to start with.

:-P
good luck.

you've looked at the books in the library (public) right? They have a bunch and I think they keep them up-to-date.

No...I haven't tried there. What books exactly?

I think they're on the first shelf in the nonfiction row. They're books like the fiske guide to colleges, us news and world report colleges, etc.
