My weekend was great!!

So my anniversary weekend has been completely amazing. We both had the weekend off together and had a really nice weekend.

It started out on Saturday with us heading out of town. We headed down to Tacoma to some super merchandise sale that turned out to be pretty lame. It was supposed to be a huge sale where everything was majorly discounted (like a brand new laptop starting at $129 or an ipod mp3 player for $10), but by the time we got there, pretty much all the good deals were gone and it seemed like a giant waste of time. We ended up not spending any money (other than the $15 for parking and the $9 per person to enter). He appologizied for it being so lame, so we decided to just make our way back home and make it up as we went.

On our way back, we stopped at the Auburn Super Mall, the Factoria Mall (which Todd so promptly called the "bacteria" mall...LOL! and that pretty much fit too), and the Alderwood Mall. We just wandered around each one, mostly just window shopping, although I did buy Todd a video game at the Alderwood mall. He had been being really good, so he deserved it.

After getting done with crusing the malls, we decided to see what movies were playing. We ended up back in Burlington and still not finding anything that we really wanted to see (or at least that was child friendly) so we headed for home. On the way, we stopped in Sedro Wooley for gas and decided to go out dancing for the night. I called Tim to see if he was busy and if I could bring Todd out there and he was cool with it. We made it out to Ferndale at about 10:15, dropped Todd off and headed back to the house so I could get ready real quick.

I'm not sure what time we got down to Rumor's, but I started drinking, dancing, and introducing TJ to all my friends. It was a very awesome night and I had far too much fun. I was told that I got very drunk and stumbled all over. I really don't remember much too much alcohol will do that to a person...LOL! However, I do remember him pouncing when we got home and then being all emotional. I was trying to avoid crying in front of him but in many ways, it was good. A lot of the things that I have been too afraid to express because of my own insecurities came out. It needed to be done.

Sunday, while I was trying to recover from a terrible hangover, we took Todd down to Chuck E. Cheeses in Burlington. He got to play for a couple of hours and then TJ decided that we needed to come home so that I could relax and start to feel better. It took nearly all night for me to feel better, too. After I watched Twilight and sent Todd to bed, I pounced in the living room and then we watched some movie on his computer (which I passed out and missed pretty much the whole thing). When it was over, he dragged me to bed so I could be up in time for work this morning. The nice thing was that I only had a short day today and was able to come back home and hang with him all day.

All in all, this weekend has been quite amazing and honestly it has been the best anniversary so far. I am pretty happy and in a pretty wonderful place in my life. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful and loving man in my life. He is my everything and means the world to me. Anyway, I am going to get off here and go hang with him some more so laters all.

Love and hugs,
~Shannon Lynn~
