Am I naive? Is this legit? Maybe it is... Do they really sell this stuff in a typical eBay auction?

If so... kick ass.

This fabulous movie memorabilia will come with a
Certificate Of Authenticity from Columbia Pictures.

I heard when filming the Lord of the Rings movies, they were required to burn their hobbit feet after each shoot? each day? so people wouldn't be buying hobbit feet on Ebay.

HAHAHAHA. That's pretty funny. xD

A shame though. They would have made a mint off that (ew).

Yeah, some of the shirts and stuff don't even have labels on them.

It seems like if official things were to put released for auction, they would go somewhere, I don't know, more renowned and actually be aired on TV or something. -shrug-

That certainly makes sense if it's true. :)

I guess the only way it could be verified is if someone came and made an official statement about it.

But either way, at least the unassuming buyers will have a replica of the outfits at best? -shrug- Good if they want to dress up for conventions, etc.

... but damn, what an expensive replica.
