weight stuff. Ignore if you wish.

This morning was my third weigh-in and I didn't lose any weight this week. I can't say I'm surprised, it's been a bit of a bad week. I hate to blame my lifestyle like it's a bad thing that I'm enjoying a social life at the mo, but I had two lunches with workmates that were definitely not the healthiest, I drank a lot of wine on Saturday in the pub ( Read more... )

My sister loves the Charlie Brooks one - I'm too lazy for it but despite being a bit annoying it is a really good work out. I hope you reach your goal. I feel your pain xxx

my mum is doing weight watchers so I understand how hard it is haha. Don't be put off my not losing any weight this week. My mum pretty much has the same number of points each week, yet one week she will lose nothing and the following week she loses 4 pounds!
Sounds like you are doing really well though, I wish I had the discipline :D

Louise Solomon's Yogalates! It's calming, screech-free, and it actually works!

I like the Leslie Sansones 'walk off weight' DVDs even though the music is crap it seems to work. There's another one I LOVE called...I think '10 minute solution- toning' or something. The host is blonde and it has 10 minute sections for abs, butt, legs, arms and stretching. It's really good for a quick workout and I think it really helps!

I bought these in the states but I bet there's English versions of the DVDs too.

I do NOT recommend Carmen Electras striptease aerobics, it's crap.

lol I have the box set actually! It's fun when I can't be arsed jumping around to bikini clad babes, and the second DVD has a decent workout but she does everything so slow I want to strangle her. I've not touched the lapdance one. That's just wrong.

Hmmm maybe I should try the second disc then, I did the first and I just felt like the speed just meant I wasn't getting any cardio at all!

I do exercises I read about in magazines. Literally any magazine you pick up or subscribe to will have at least one work-out/weight stuff article that can be quite helpful. I just photo copied a bunch of pages from my cousins magazines (she cuts out and saves pages about workout routines) and they're quite helpful. Aside from doing a couple sets of exercises for stomach, legs (stupid thighs!), arms etc. about every other day I also go power walking/jogging every other day (up to five times a week). So I alternate between the two ( ... )
