i don't know if many of you have noticed but i have stopped buying monthly letter and gaia cash on Gaia. why? because I'm getting tired of the whole keeping up with the Jones' that they have going on and i know that if there is something i want to have on my avatar at that time i know borrow it form one of my friends with the proper collateral and

I have noticed that with the monthly collectables. But to be honest, lately they have kinda sucked ass.

And don't over work yourself on these parties Sharon. Remember they are supposed to be fun ^^

Yeah, I've stopped buying things on Gaia, too. I can't afford pixels, especially not ridiculously overpriced ones. Gaia has gone from a close-knit community based website to a massive, money-grubbing whore in only a couple of years. The MTV shop? I can't stand MTV in real life, why does it have to be on Gaia now too? I don't care if Kung-fu Panda or American Mall are out on DVD. And I don't want to pay money for pixelated fish who are going to die in a week anyway. And even the donation items- Oh I'm sorry, "monthly collectibles" suck now too.
I only go on for roleplaying and special events. I don't have money to spend on their new items, and even if I did, they're getting enough from sponsors already.

More importantly, I hope your Dad heals up well. I'm sorry to hear about his infection.
