Right now, every member of the cast and crew feels miserable. We were having a great rehearsal (turns out Brian and Missy changed their minds and decided to have the cast in today to help us figure out cues and whatnot), everyone was getting their lines in okay, and the crew got a nice system going so we knew what to set up when and where. damn, that's rough.
I've had a lot of similar things happen in acting.

In our grade 9 play of "Wizard of Oz" we had the Emerald City Gates and they fell on us.
That was about 200lbs of pressure. It was scary..

I really hope that Doug will be alright. Healing is more inportant than a play and I hope they won't force the deadline on you guys...like how our Director did with us when our friends were killed in a car accident..the plays we had were due in a few short weeks after.

you have my best wishes

Yeah. He's a football player, so hopefully he'll pull through quickly. Right now, we're keeping to the schedule until we know how bad it is. Since I don't think he has an understudy, I figure we'd postpone the play for however long it takes until he recovers.

*huggles* Thanks! ^^

This was the first time I've ever seen someone get injured like that, so yeah, it was pretty scary - it still is, in fact. But I'm sure he'll get better relatively quickly - he's a tough guy.

Thanks! *huggles* I'll add ya as soon as my net decides it's okay to let me on AIM, lol.

So am I, so am I - I'm sure everyone in the cast and crew is just as relieved, too. ^^
