For each day of the week, I have a particular type of fragrance associated with it. My concept of how these days should smell is largely derived from mythical associations with those days, so here goes.
Interesting. . .I pick my fragrances based on my mood and what I'm trying to portray I suppose. But I tend to stay mostly with the water fragrances anyway. The real question is, what's your favorite?
BTW, for me it rotates between Moonsparkle by Escada, Cool Water/Cool Water Deep by Davidsoff, Blu Notte by Bulgari, and Aqua di Gio. Most of those are good summer fragrances if you haven't checked them out
Yay, perfume! I adore perfume; I wear it far more often than makeup. Even if I'm just running errands and meeting friends for coffee in jeans and a comfy top, I always want to smell delicious. My everyday scent, which is just part of my grooming routing, applied after toweling off but before brushing my teeth, is Tabu. It's spicy and oriental, with a heady heart of musk. It's old but classic, and the fact it's not expensive means I really can use it everyday. For special occasions, I vacillate between Baby Doll by YvesSaintLaurent (rose, pink grapefruit and rhubarb, primarily; a very edible scent), or a variety of the single-note scents by Yardley - I find the Rose pretty, but it doesn't linger, and the Lavender is elegant but soporific. My favourite men's scent to thief (hey, no reason I can't like men's perfumes, too!) is Very Valentino. Cool Water's nice, too. Hoorah for perfume!
