Twilight Fic Recs and More
Well, I've not got a whole lot to say. I should, since it's been awhile, but... I'm just too lethargic to do much (or care about it). This frikkin weather has me all out of sorts. We've gotten 12 inches of snow, and been out of school since Monday, so the kids and I have been couped up all day for three days. FUN! :D LOL
I've only got six fics to rec this time. I usually wait until I have about 10 or more, but I just gotta get these out here, mainly for just one of the fics. I've totally fallen in love with it, and it is A-MAZING! Everyone should read this one!! LOL It's at the very end of the list. ;)

They plan to marry and start their lives together but things are put on hold when Isabella and her parents relocate from Chicago back to New York City. The connection between them is stronger than they ever imagined and when the Spanish Influenza hits Edward, Isabella experiences something beyond her wildest nightmares. She is tied to his life more than she thought possible. Though still human, Isabella soon realizes what Edward has become and that she is no longer aging. What happens when they finally cross paths again ninety years later?
I love this fic even though it's only four chapters in. It's well written, and a different take on their relationship. I've seen other fics where they met back in the early 1900's, but this is different than all of those, and I'm excited to see where this goes.

I rec'd the original fic a while back, and if you've been reading it, you really should read this too. It's been wonderful to get to see Edward's POV of the events. It's wonderfully written, just like the first one, and I think you'll enjoy it.

Based loosely on the movie Return to Me. Bella received an organ transplant and a chance at life she never thought she'd have. Edward's world ended when the love of his life died, but he's finally ready to try and live again when he meets the strange and amusing waitress at his new favorite restaurant.
This one is just plain ole fun. It's got it's serious bits too, don't get me wrong. But the general feel so far has just been fun and lighthearted. I think it's about to get to a pretty serious part, which I'm really looking forward to. You know I loves me some angst! LOL Anyway, check it out for some fluffy love.

At opening night for their friend Emmett's club they meet Bella Swan, and are both instantly drawn to her. Can she be the answer to their desires?
HOT-HOT-HOTT!!! Did I mention -HOT? *fans self* I am totally addicted to this fic, and can't wait for more of it! I read all five chapters at once, and right now I'm having withdrawls. LOL I would highly recommend this fic even if you're not a Twilight fan. It's AH so it really doesn't have anything in common with the books, but it is HOT and the Jasper/Edward makes me long for the days of my Angel/Spike love. Seriously, check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Now, I just came across this LJ entry tonight, and just gotta pimp it out here. This is "A Robert/Edward ~Visual Essay~", and I think it's wonderful! (You guys should know by now the Robwhore I am. LMAO) The author hit the nail on the head with all her points, and I couldn't have said it better myself. It's funny, yet serious. Check it out, I think it's great!

Hmmmmm.... I guess that's about all I got tonight. I gotta get some sleep now, since I do have work tomorrow. Two hour delay, but it's gonna be hard to get up in the morning after basically getting to sleep in all week. LOL Wish me luck with NOT strangling my kids at school. They're always little terrors when we've been out for a bit, and this will basically be a whole week off for them, since they've been out since last Friday (we don't have class on Mondays).
