Oh yeah, mate. Absofrigginglutely. I'd tell you that it's just 'cause Phill's a man but even then I'm not sure that men (and indeed the people I'm talking about) can be THAT stupid.

It pisses you off because you go out your way to make sure they have a great day and then you get this in return? Niiiiiiiice.

I'll be around tomorrow, mate, if this in any way makes up for the kind of day you're anticipating. Not sure how long 'cause I'm pretty sure I'll have to take Grandma and Chris somewhere but I plan to be online at some point to squish and hug. Hey, maybe we can watch a couple of your favourite eps together or something? :)

*huggles* And you're NOT whining. Nor are you being selfish. It'd be nice if just once people could get it right for you, spoil you a little on your anniversary or what have you, y'know?

Men. Unfortunately, regardless of how observant or amazing they may be on occasion, they still need the hammer between the eyes to clue them in to the smallest of details.

Like "saying no to a bear"... now, really? A bear? Maybe he has something planned as a surprise for making up for even saying something like that. Because if that's what makes you happy after the year you've had, he should buy you a dozen bloody bears.

I think the importance of certain dates just completely bypasses our husbands. It's a good think my daughter was born on a national holiday or else the hubs might forget that, too.

I'm sorry, hon. *hugs* I hope you are pleasently surprised by your anniversary. *narrows eyes at Phil*

I wish I could say he came through, mate...but he didn't. lol

He spent the day at home, moping and bored cause his mates didn't show. Then in the afternoon, he went to a mate's for a couple of hours, leaving me home with the kids.

However...having said all that? I did get to watch a dvd rip of Ten Inch Hero. Watching two eps of my boys, followed by Jensen in that movie? Now that was a nice way to spend the night...even if it meant Phill was snoring in bed alone. LOL Can you believe he actually expected me to go to bed when he did? After basically ignoring me all day? LOL Fat chance of that happening.

Maybe he'll make it up to me when he takes me to Perth for the movies, mate. I can only hope. LOL

*HUGGLES*
