This concerns Sephyism, and I know I said I wasn't going to say anymore on it, but apparently, people have been seriously misinterpreting what I've been saying. And it's not just in response to the last thing I posted there, but it's been consistently happening whenever I make a point that somehow ends up into some big argument. I never liked that Rucksack guy ever since he showed up in Sephyism he always had that "my opinion is right yours is wrong," attitude and it really annoyed me ( ... )

It should be that you can just be a fan of a game by playing it. None of this, read the Nintendo Power walkthrough, or reading of Ultimania, or some other guide by Prima or Brady, or maybe even a Japanese magazine you can't even read--I mean that would make you an extreme fan, but you can't be less of a fan (much less, not be one) for simply playing the game and enjoying it. At least most fans prove their worth by buying the next sequels.

I don't think any of those things decides how much of a fan you are, I think it's just, regular fans, serious fans and the all out crazy fans.

I think there's a difference between being a fan and being a fanboy and that's what I think a lot of Sephyism is headed to--mindless sheep following every little thing they can translate as God's Own Truth and logic and consistency be damned.
