I totally sympathize on the missing-the-boy front. Sometimes getting to see them more often just seems to make it worse!

I have complete confidence that you'll be down here for dental school next year. (Unless, of course, you get a better offer from elsewhere!)It's over on the other side of campus from me, but we'll have to try and see each other sometimes!

I've heard a rumor that the dent students learn how to give Novacaine shots by practicing on one another, but I don't know if there's any truth to that, especially given that it's illegal for us nursing students to practice injections on each other.

I've heard that, too, about the Novacaine. They also practice on each other with nitrous oxide, I think. Crazy. Guess you gotta learn somehow--and, though of course I don't know, I don't think you're at any risk of hurting someone with Novacaine.

Oh, Patrice, I just love reading your LJ posts. They bring so much joy to the heart. (I think it's because I can totally empathize most of the time.) I'm so sorry I missed all of the group fun/ opportunities to hang out this summer, but we'll for sure have to catch up once we all get back to Oxford. =)
