Vicksburg?

C and I are going to meet halfway in Vicksburg on his next weekend off. Anyone know of anything fun to do there?

We were going to go to Jackson, but we couldn't think of anything to do there. At least in Vicksburg there are casinos. Anyone know which ones are good/which ones aren't?

ok...in the 'burg there's not much to do. but i'll give ya a quick rundown:

don't plan on going to the movies b/c there isn't a theatre. however, casinos wise, i hear ameristar is the best. also, there's a new-ish bar thats ok above the restaurant borellos called the loft. its ok. don't eat at borrellos. its expensive and a bit gross. there are several mexican places to eat and rusty's which has now moved to the end of washington st. (the main drag downtown) there's a new kids park downtown and the military park (w/the old ship in it) plus the tour homes if you want to do history-y stuff. also, the downtown shopping is alright, not that caleb would particularly want to do that.
