Some of you have mentioned the desire to game again. Now, I know that some of you don't have an LJ of your own, so I've enabled anonymous posts for this entry. I would like some old-school vamp, personally. and I would love to play someone's ghoul. But that's me.... :)

as far as exalted goes, if you want to be... erm... submissive, you could be a normal mortal or a heroic mortal. Perhaps even a mortal thaumaturge (magic user). Either way, you'd be mortal. Perhaps a servant of one of the Exalts in the group. I'm sure we'd find something that tickles your fancy in whatever game we choose.

oh come now. Just because my first game was dull, slow to start and uneventful doesn't mean the next attempt won'e be.

I think my mistakes were these:

--too many players. I was able to successfully run a Vampire game with an upwards of a dozen players. I thought that I would be able to do the same with Exalted. I was wrong. Mainly because nobody else has played Exalted either, where a few of my Vampire players had played WoD before and therefore knew the systems. The extended number of players also resulted in too much downtime for many players. Yours included hon. A mistake that I have learned from and hope not to repeat in my next game.

--slow to start. I spent way too much time getting my Exalted game going. too much time was spent trudging along doing nothing. Boredom soon followed for many players and nobody wanted to continue. Another lesson that I have learned from and another mistake I hope not to repeat.
