Ohhh..but I think the Albatross is Steve Irwin. This was a tribute to him, I believe.

when i first saw that scene, i wondered why they choose to leave it out? if you've seen it on the dvd, it's magnificent! it's as visually stunning as the rest of the film and still gets a message across. the more steve irwin in the film, the better. it was his last.

you haven't seen the EE of ROTK yet? well hon, pop some corn... about 4 hours worth, take the phone off the hook and enjoy! :-)

I wondered the same thing too. The blue whale must have been a pretty sight to see esp on IMAX.

I love that scene - so sad when Mumble says he doesn't have a kind.

Get ready for a real treat with the ROTK EE - hope you have time to watch some of the extra's also!! And then watch it with the actor commentary. You'll need about a month to see it all so hope your boss/friend is going to be gone for a while!!

OMG - you are going to have SO MUCH FUN!! I love to watch the movies with the actor commentary on - so interesting and entertaining. And have you seen the Easter Egg with Dom and Elijah? It is fabulous!!
