I was just browsing mission101's web site. It's about accomplishing 101 things in 1001 days. Some of you have probably heard about it. Go check it out if you haven't!

Right now, 101 seems like a whole lot of things, and I'm way over my head just thinking about leaving my current job. It's like I wanna leave now (and take a long break!), and yet I wanna stay bec it's the one place that's all too familiar to me.

So here's 35 things I wanna accomplish by 7/21/2009 assuming I'd still be alive and the Lord hasn't returned yet:

1. Enroll in MT course.
2. Get a high paying MT job -- with the end in view of working from home later on.
3. Keep learning new medical terms and procedures after the course is over. Review lessons and master soundalikes.
4. Lose 37 lbs by the end of this year. Continue with my program -- food and fitness journal -- on SparkPeople.
5. Buy new clothes. Donate old ones.
6. Enroll in a dance class.
7. Enroll in a cooking class. (Learn how to make simple lowfat recipes.)
8. Learn how to swim. I mean, I can swim but not in the "scientific" way like real swimmers do. Any swimmers here?
9. Learn a new sport. (Maybe boxing or taekwondo??) Any suggestions?
10. Attend a creative writing class.
11. Write more songs and poems.
12. Submit some of my compositions to Hillsong Australia. Maybe they'll like at least 1 enough to use in their next album. *g*
13. Write to a Christian author, like Beth Moore, Elizabeth George, Nancy Leigh de Moss, or Elisabeth Elliot, just to express my appreciation for how they have impacted my life and helped me make good decisions in life.
14. Assuming we don't get to sell our house, redecorate my loooong bedroom - repaint walls and ceiling, add partitions and built-in shelves, and a "home office." AND transform bathroom to walk-in closet. If we do sell our house within this time, then I will decorate my new apartment/house! Other items on this list will have to wait.
15. Buy a new, slightly bigger mattress for my bed. I'm still using the same single bed I've been using since I was like 13.
16. Have annual medical checkup and go to to the dentist regularly. Go to the water spa for hydrotherapy twice a month.
17. Drink at least 8 glasses of water and take vitamins everyday.
18. Drink lactose-free nonfat milk at least 2x a week. Eat fruits and vegetables everyday.
19. Upgrade my home PC - MS Windows software, add CD-RW/DVD-RW and new hard drive.
20. Get a new printer, scanner, and webcam.
21. Buy a digital camera (and Palm Pilot, if it will become a necessity).
22. Attend Christian seminars and workshops.
23. Attend a church regularly and become involved in ministry.
24. Join a missions org, and do volunteer work.
25. Volunteer on a short-term missions trip (in Asia).
26. Finish reading all unread books in my personal library. Add more books to my collection.
27. Give more to charity and Christian missions.
28. Pray and read the Bible regularly.
29. Continue supporting a World Vision child.
30. Learn more about and get into classical music. My father was totally nuts about this when he was still alive. What do you think I should start with? Mozart?
31. Reunite with old friends and classmates and watch a movie together or just hang out (videoke time!).
32. Become more organized -- follow a schedule, menu plan, todo list, etc. Make it a habit to do tasks ahead of time and to come to an appointment early. (I'm hopeless!)
33. Make a budget and stick to it. (I guess that means no more food trips for me. :( )
34. Give gifts and cards to my family and friends even when there's no special occasion. (But do keep track of birthdays and anniversaries!)
35. Take my family on a vacation to Boracay, Bohol or Palawan.

I also wanna start my own business - like a gift shop, or health food store, or a Dimsum n' Dumplings franchise or something but I don't think I can squeeze that in without driving myself crazy till 2010.

Since I'm a hopeless procrastinator, I'd be absolutely thrilled if I accomplish even half of this list by my 35th birthday. This will probably undergo many changes too, as I try to do each item on the list. Hmmm... I just noticed I didn't put anything there about finding a husband. I guess, in my heart I still believe love would come when it is least expected. ;-)

(I will try to expand this till it becomes a 101 in 1001 list. Of course, that list will include meeting Elijah Wood, joining FOFF, and going to New Zealand! :P)

What's on your list? ;-)
