Aargh... why is my LJing being so poor at the moment...?

So that's what you were doing rather than coming to the cinema. Taking pictures of yourself naked, heh.

It funny actaully because i was thinking about doing an arty nude photo about 4-5 days ago. Or at least conceptualising how i'd like it to look in my head.

I do like the photo. black and white works well when you have a large constrast between shadow and higlights, but i like the exposure. Conpositionally I like it also along with your facial expression although I'm unsure about how your leg is being cropped. Good work though. I'd shoot you.

Ah, but that's the wrong way round... I don't want people to shoot me, I want to shoot other people. (photographically, as it were)

I wasn't sure about the crop of the leg either, for me it puts the rest of the photo in the right place and right shape, and the loss of the knee was preferable to the shape of the photo with the knee in. If that makes sense.

It's good that we can both have a photo we like with a crop we are unsure about it :p

Just post on LJ saying "who will let me shoot them naked" and see what replies you get. Actaully, thats not such a bad idea. I might borrow that, hehe.

Although I agree you would have to feel confortable with the person you are shooting. Maybe start out with some more glamour like B+W which wont be quite as intimate then work your way up.

It's partly a location thing as well, I don't really have somewhere I'd be happy shooting. In terms of having a clear and plain location, and I don't want to bother with a studio, even if I could get one for free, not yet anyway.

I didn't think yu'd be entirely un-self-conscious, given how self-conscious yu can be with me just photographing yu clothed sometimes...

We should then at some point, because if yu think yu would be ok then I would love to shoot yu.

To be honest, I tend to shoot wide and crop down in most cases, but it was really awkward trying to shoot me and get me all on the background because obviously I'm guessing exactly what's in frame and what's not. Let's just say that it didn't exactly work first time... ;)

It usually doesn't work the first time :-) ... I figured it was cropped some .. it's the easiest .. shoot a bit back and crop to where you want it ...

That would be cool, take a look a Flickr for photo hosting, it's really comprehensive and can be as simple or complex as yu wanna make it. =) (and no... I don't get commision *^_~* )
