2011!
Happy New Year!
I can't really give a detailed account of yesterday's New Year, my head's threatening to burst with the cold I caught by the morning sickness & the tissue box had been my best friend since just now, & so bed is the very best thing to roll in until I have to get to work again.
It's Paiza today at 11pm, & for once I do want to appear for work at that late hour because it seemed that I always get chucked in that place, just that for this one moment when I do want to try out. Might not end up in work today if I'm not sweating in my sleep.
I don't have any particular resolutions except to continue to reach my dream to be in University & then continue on my path on my career as an Archeologist..
Ay yes! Also to be at least visit one of my mates scattered in this planet called Earth!
I wish that special someone would make it a resolution to actual meet me... but hey, that's his.
I'm gunna fly somewhere no matter! ^__^
In a nut shell, I saw the country's New Year celebrations at work, fireworks & all (more smoke than fire), & saw the Pointer Sisters without tickets since I was tending the bar for them. I met Alex Piercey from London again as he attended the concert & spent the night with him at his request. He sent homehome at about 3.30pm, & by then I've bled on the West side of Marina Bay Sands for 12 hours since I cut my finger while cutting lime for the cocktail at the Beverage Pantry.
Ohoh & I also learnt how to pop champagnes! Richard the full-timer said we all need to since it will be very useful for our weddings, but since I don't drink (neither does David... hopefully), it's a new skill that serves more fun that is able to plunge a black eye on someone. XD
Not to mention all the messages from everyone for the New Year messages! David was strangely excited about seeing through the New Year with me, & that brightens me up rosy for that. I love you all! <3
5 tissue papers & am still leaking haha!
Speaking to a sozzled Jack for a wee just now did give me a smile though, & like him, I need to hit the hay!
