Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr - Patriots Game

Seriously? I mean SERIOUSLY?? At half time they were 17 points up. And then the Colts started catching up. And with 12 seconds left in the game, the Colts scored and that was it. TWELVE SECONDS*sigh*. All I could think was, I stayed up late for this?? *again...sigh* Don't get me wrong, they played pretty well. Both teams had some mistakes ( Read more... )

I have been waiting all day for your take on the game. Of course I've seen "The Call" over and over again and I don't know if a challenge would have helped your team or not (especially because I don't know what the refs would see when/if they did challenge. It looked like his foot was short of the down, but he caught it over the line...so I have no idea. *laughing*), but it wasn't the best decision to throw and not punt on that play. Of course it was risky either way. Like you said Manning was slamming them down the field at that point, but to take that kind of chance on your 28 yard line...wow, that's either gutsy or extremely dumb. I'm sorry your team lost that game, but I don't have a doubt that the Pats will be in the play-offs. This lost will probably fuel them to another SuperBowl. **hugs** As for dealing with a frustrating game, Twinnie, I understand that one better than most. *laughing* **hugs**

Yayyyy, you were waiting for me, lol. Someone loves me *smilin*. I know you feel my pain sissy. Both of our teams will get it right eventually and then we'll be SO happy *grins*. *hugs*

I would have punted and made Manning get the yards to score, but as we all know hindsight is always 20/20, so who knows for sure. That said, I have absolutely no use for Bill Bellichek. He completely took Bernie Kosar away from the fans in Cleveland and we lost him for good. Needless to say I cringe everytime I see him. I think he has taken alot of the credit for the Pats and isn't nearly as deserving as he would like to make it seem he is. The Pats are an extremely talented team and I'm sure they'll make the playoffs. It would actually be fun to watch them if BB wasn't their coach *gag*. Go Pats!!! Win despite BB! **hugs**

I didn't know anything about BB before I became a Pats fan (which was only a few years ago), but I think he made a bad call. Doesn't really matter at this point but I felt better after I vented, lol. Ignore BB but watch the Pats. They're a well oiled machine (when it's working right and the calls are good, lol). They're worth it! Thanks for taking the time to comment Trac. It means a lot to me! *hugs*
