Superbowl 44

Well, it's come and gone and like the kiss of death that it is, the team I rooted for lost, lol. I can't be too upset because the team that won has never won a Superbowl before. The main problem I have with The Saints is how they bad mouthed Brett Favre. But congrats to them for a game well played ( Read more... )

I know what you mean, the biggest jinx a team can have is to have me on their side ! lol I always feel like the big games are scripted. I think the players deserved to win and played well, it was actually a pretty exciting game. But from the moment pre-game came on, it was apparent that the media was backing the saints. I loved the little boy/doritos commercial that was too cute. The rest, so-so. I loved the TT commercial and certainly didn't under the controversy it caused. When his mom said "he's just my Timmy", I was like AWWWWWWW... He's way too cute. All in all... a good reason for snack food and family is always a good thing. **hugs**

I'm glad you enjoyed the game. I see now that they're bashing Peyton for not shaking hands before he left the field. Brees himself said that Peyton is a class man so if he's good with how Peyton gave his congrats, why should anyone else have a problem with it? The media kills me *smh*.

The Superbowl sucked. *laughing* I missed the Tebow ad *cries silently* because dinner on the boat was at 6 and the that was about when the game started. Dinner lasted an hour and a half. *sigh* I really need to see if I can youtube it. As for the Saints... Using the words (well almost) of Rhett Butler and the classic movie Gone With The Wind, "frankly I just don't give a damn". I think they pushed the whole "hurricane destoryed us, we need the superbowl more than the Colts" thing too much. I understand that NO got hit hard and are still rebuilding, but that has nothing to do with football and putting that much on a game made me want to punch someone. *laughing* As for the way it played out, obviously I'm disappointed. I really wanted the Colts to win and for the Saints to lose, but *shrugs* just like with the Gators and with your Patriots, there is always next year.

In other news, I MISSED YOU SO MUCH! **hugs**

I could SQUEEEEEEEEE cause you're home. First and foremost, I MISSED YOU SO MUCH TOO! *hugsssssssss* Second, I knew you'd be disappointed about the Superbowl. I rooted like crazy for the Colts but the bastards didn't listen to me, lol. The one thing I will say about the Saints is that Drew Brees is a real class act. Humble and genuinely appreciative, so I'm happy for him. Third of all, I can't wait to hear how your trip was and see any awesome pictures that you may have taken. Can't wait to talk to you sissy! *hugs and huge love*
