[Misaki laughs quietly at that. Yeah, he can kind of see that.]
I'm sure as long as it doesn't break the skin you'll be okay, but just keep an eye on it. I'm sure Jess-san won't want to hurt you, but sometimes... large things don't know their own strength. [Wow, that sounded really awkward.]
[Awkward laugh.] Tell me about it. I gave Senpai bruises by accident pushing him out of the way of attacks all the time. [KANJI, HE DOESN'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT YOUR HISTORY OF FIGHTING, STOP THAT.]
[He sighs.] No, but the police back home took their damn time figuring that out. Accused me of shit I'd never do, like bullyin' little kids. I, uh... Did beat up some guys from a biker gang once, though. Assholes were keepin' my ma up at night.
....... [Misaki is trying so hard not to judge you right now Kanji. So hard!]
....... You know, you're kind of scary sometimes, Kanji-kun. [He's decided to be truthful about this. He figures after what they've talked about, it probably won't hurt to be honest.]
[video] why won't it let me use small text? |:angerpointOctober 13 2010, 15:03:26 UTC
[Kanji sighs again and rubs at the back of his neck.] Yeah... Yeah, I know. I get that a lot. [And here is Marilyn, who has noticed her trainer seems a bit down, and crawled up onto his shoulder to nuzzle his face. Kanji seems to cheer up a little when she does so.]
[video] Strange, it showed up small in the email notif. :|ausaginoukeOctober 13 2010, 16:58:42 UTC
[Uh oh, that seemed to have made him feel bad. Now Misaki has guilt pains.]
Ah! I didn't mean it in a bad way! I mean.... gah! I guess it can only sound bad when I say it like that... [Misaki rubs at his face, trying to decided how to solve this problem! Dx]... I guess what I meant was beating up an entire gang... that's a little extreme, although I understand your reasoning.
Hey... 's alright. [He smiles, although its a little bit forced.] Even my best friends were scared a' me at first. But... all the fighting I do these days is unavoidable or against shado-- [Aaaand he freezes there. Also, its not all unavoidable, Kanji.]
Come on, Misaki, its cool. [The smile is more real this time.] I mean, hell, I kinda tried to be scary. I'm working on it. . . . I even sell the dolls I make now.
Most of the time, its pretty quiet. Special circumstances.
Kanji-kun! [He waves but keeps his voice down as he browses the aisles]
Congratulations on Jess-san's evolution! Pidgeotto are bigger than I imaged they would be.

Heh, she got way bigger. She can't really sit on my head anymore, so she's relocated to my shoulder.

[What did he say?]
[Attacks?]
Uh... sorry, I don't think I quite caught that at the end, there.

[From the way his hair is styled and the missing eyebrows, Misaki has been wondering for a while...]

Sounds like you guys have it tough. I always thought Tokyo was supposed to be more dangerous than small towns.
