Does... anyone know how to play capture the flag?
I have just learned of this game, and while some may not want to play in the snow...
I would... really like to guard the flag. If...if we can get enough people to play, sometime.
Um, would any of you be interested?

Do you have any idea how much I love you right now, Aara?
You are like, my guardian recruitment angel.

[He's almost worried he accidentally offended her, but then she laughs, so he just grins back at her.]
No, I don't think people'd taste good at all. Not even ice ones.
[And then he laughs.]
Hell, yeah. Feeding a bunch of dragons? The idea of having to buy enough food to feed one is what killed my desire to have a dragon as a kid.

Oh, I don't know. I'd rather have someone taste like ice than like... whatever a human tasted like. [She winces. Well. That joke fell flat. And the idea of finding out what a human tasted like did not sit well with her at all. A disgusted sound rumbles from her throat. Ew.]
You... have dragons where you are from? [Then her expression turns somewhat concerned.]
As pets?
[She's staring incredulously--disturbed by this idea.]

I'm sure it's really bad ice, though. Worse than humans. Yup.
[His brow furrows for a moment at her question, and then he realizes what his comment must have sounded like.]
Oh. Uh. No, we don't have them. Just in books and movies and stuff. But I always thought they were really cool. And it wouldn't have been a pet, it would've been like - a partnership.
Reply
Oh, definitely. No eating ice men for me.
[Then she's laughing again, brows lifted high upon her forehead.] A partnership? [She can't help it. Now that she's had a taste for teasing she doesn't want to stop. She leans forward, closer to Bobby, and tried to capture his eyes while humor dances in hers.] Would you marry a dragon, Bobby?

[He grins widely at her, especially at her laughter. His brows furrows a bit when she leaned in closer to him. He sees that humor in her eyes, and he knows she's up to something.
Which is probably why he doesn't backtrack and stammer that that wasn't what he meant, and instead smirks slightly.]
Of course. I'd get a wife and a dragon to fly me places. Best marriage ever.

You'd ask nicely, though.
[Aara lifted her chin a little, a smile teasing her lips while the small glint in her eye challenged him to say otherwise. Her grin widened after a minute.]
I love nothing more than the wind pulling at me and the feeling of being so completely free. [Sending a somewhat sly smile Bobby's way--something he would only see while she was talking about flying or being caressed by wind--Aara lightly bumps his shoulder once more with hers.] If you ask this angha nicely, she may take you up one day. [And then she is grinning again.]

I'd ask the nicest. What kind of husband would I be if I didn't go all out?
[Bobby pictures that, smiling slightly. It sounds familiar - sort of like the way he felt when ice sliding, though he imagines actually flying would be somewhat different.
He bumps her shoulder back automatically before her words sink in, and then his eyes light up a little.]
Really? You would? Oh, man, I am definitely going to have to work on the nicest asking ever.
Reply
Well. You are my friend, so you don't have to worry about asking too nicely, Bobby.
[Besides. It had been a while since she had actually flown. She yearned for open skies and warm afternoons, or cool nights to fly in. Bobby would probably appreciate some of the coldest of nights.]

Well, it'll have to be at least a little nice. It's flying. I know some people who can fly on their own, but I've never done it. The closest I come is ice sliding, and that's not really the same.
Reply
Not the same at all.
[A little shrug.]
Well, if you ever want to fly, you know where to find me. Not... too many people know about my ability to transform, though. I... I wouldn't want to startle anyone.

[He nods and smiles a bit ruefully.
I can understand. I didn't use to be so public with my abilities, either, not outside of my school. Suddenly finding out someone has special powers can be a bit of a shock for some people.]
Less so with people here, though, it seems.
Reply
Well... I have found you, right? You're not an average human, so... I suppose there may be others with other... special abilities, too.
Reply
You have! And you're right. There's a lot of people here with special abilities, actually. Most of the people I've met seem to have one kind or another.
Reply
They are? The people here?
Reply
Um. Yeah? At least a lot of the ones I've met, anyway.
