acnl: more trick than treat
i've decided not to join the halloween activities on acnl mainly due to the numerous things i've been reading that if you're "tricked", you can lose items permanently. ugh. no thanks. worked too hard to get stuff i like to lose it to some stupid event. luckily, it's not an all day thing and lasts from 600pm to 100am so i can do whatever town business i have in the morning hours and let the whole thing pass and visit the town the next day. i've managed to unlock the island as well as start and finish one public works project -- namely, a much needed bridge. i've also unlocked the ordinances and have passed a "beautiful town" ordinance which will help with cutting down the most tedious of tasks (aka watering plants and weeding.) i'll be able to access the island on wednesday and i hope to get enough"exotic goods" so i can sell them for $$ so i can start another town project, pass more ordinances and upgrade my house from a 4x4 space to an 8x8 space.
another new animal has moved in -- hans the white gorilla.
